Those with a fish allergy could experience a serious or even life-threatening allergic reaction if they eat the product. The problem occurred when a fish-containing soba sauce was mistakenly packaged in certain kits, but fish was not listed on the label. Affected: Sura Tanmen Hot and Sour Flavor Premium Japanese Noodles & Soup Base, Lot Code 1226183.
A total of 134 packages are included in the recall. This products was a sold only in Hawaii between July 9 and July 29, 2026 at Don Don Donki, Don Quijote, H-Mart Kakaako, Marukai Hawaii, Nijiya Market, Times Super Market, Tokyo Central, Roy’s Restaurant at Ko Olina, Suisan Company, Golden Touch Trading, and other participating retailers.
