Emboldened by the message he is carrying that the Spirit he has received, Peter travels the same path through Jerusalem's elite and shares his message with great authority.

After a tumultuous time attempting to follow Jesus, Peter steps into a leadership position with the 120 people that are still present. Peter's first act is to elevate one of the followers to be a disciple.

The Book of Acts kicks off with Jesus greeting the disciples and taking several questions about the immediate and distant future.

Jesus uses the images of a vineyard, pruning, and a new harvest to help his followers understand the process is painful but powerful. We must be willing to remove things that harm or impede us.
