  • From Slovakia to Space | A Conversation With Slovak Astrobiologist Dr. Michaela Musilová
    2026/02/09

She was homeless while working at NASA. This is a story about perseverance.

Dr. Michaela Musilová left home because staying meant shrinking her dreams. What followed was a path defined by isolation, persistence, and belief in something no one could yet promise her. She helped shape the field of astrobiology while navigating financial hardship, including a period of homelessness during her work at NASA.

This conversation is not just about science or space. It is about survival, self-trust, and the cost of pursuing a life that does not come with permission or precedent. We talk about what it takes to keep moving forward when opportunity is uneven, support is scarce, and the future feels impossibly far away.

It is also about what happens after you make it through, and how lifting others becomes part of the mission.

  • Art in Uncertain Times: Photography, Cuba, and Freedom | A Conversation with Monica Moltó
    2026/02/02

In this episode, I sit down with Monica Moltó, a Cuban photographer now living in New York. We talk about photography as a way of capturing the present moment, and about what it means to create when freedom feels fragile.

Monica shares parts of her story publicly for the first time, including her family’s experience with political repression in Cuba and how that history continues to shape her relationship to fear, expression, and visibility.

Our conversation also explores the parallels she sees between her past and what many are witnessing in the United States today, including how systems like ICE influence the way people speak, move, and create. This is not a debate. It’s a conversation about memory, power, and choosing to keep making art when certainty disappears.

  • Pretty Powerful: Self-Care by Pri Buiar | Part 1/3
    2025/05/26

I flew to Rio de Janeiro, Brazil during the height of Carnival season to chat all things self-care, fitness, and rest with award-winning Actress, Model, and all-around queen Priscila Buiar.

Best known for her role as Valentina in the series "Stupid Wife," Priscila is using her platform to empower women to put themselves first: mentally, physically, and emotionally. In 2023, she launched "Selfcare by Pri Buiar" to share her wellness journey and offer a roadmap to finding balance and setting boundaries.

Priscila isn’t just lighting up screens; she’s lighting a fire in women everywhere to rest without guilt, say no without fear, and put themselves first without apology. In 2023, she launched @selfcarebypribuiar to make wellness both accessible and non-negotiable. We took a Muay Thai class together, bonded over our water sign placements, and loudly declared that selfcare is anything but selfish. This episode is your reminder that FOMO has nothing on inner peace.

🎥 Part 1 of my chat with Priscila Buiar is OUT EVERYWHERE NOW.

📲 Subscribe to stay up-to-date on the rest of the series with Priscila, dropping daily this week.
