このコンテンツについて
Open your phone, and it feels like everyone else is living inside a highlight reel. The perfect vacation, the dream job, the achievement that looks like it took no effort at all. Scroll long enough and it can feel like you’re the only one still figuring things out.
Even the stories we’re told about great lives get polished down. Read a biography, and it’s written like a movie script: a hero’s journey with a clear beginning, middle, and a triumphant ending. The struggles are summarized, the failures are softened, and what shines through is the neat version of someone’s life that makes sense only in hindsight.
And then there’s the world of motivation. Every speaker promises a formula, every book lays out “five easy steps,” every video suggests that if you just visualize winning hard enough, it will all fall into place. It can sound like the path from wanting something to getting it is a straight road—smooth, well-lit, and obvious.
But that’s not the life most of us are living.
