Shane shares his thoughts on Tennessee Football QB Nico Lamaleva skipping meetings and practices right before the Spring Game because he wanted to negotiate a new NIL deal. Insane considering he was signed as a junior in high school, signed a 4-year NIL deal, and started being paid as a senior. Unprecedented at the time, he made 2 million dollars a year. The day before the spring game, he decides he wants more money and disappears. Allegedly, they tried to renegotiate, but Nico was asking for 4 million a year because he saw other players receive more money. Despite throwing for 2600 yards, 19 TDs, and 5 INTs, he thinks that is worth 4 million bucks a year. Coach Josh Heupel took a stand and dismissed Nico to a rousing applause from TENNESSEE FANS (Grupo Oficial). Now that is a leader! Coach Heupel received praise from coaches and fans around the country for putting the team first and not allowing Nico to hold them hostage!

College Football is broken, and NCAA Football should be embarrassed. Charlie Baker, as commissioner, is completely impotent. Yes, the players deserve to be paid; the NCAA has made billions off these kids for years. Instead of doing his actual job, putting together a plan to regulate how to pay players or restrict the transfer portal. This Ozempic, worthless, joke of a leader is ruining college sports. The NCAA tournament was blah overall. Football is fun to watch, but there is no loyalty, and Charlie lets it all happen. He loses in court and is the worst figurehead in sports.
