A podcast where we embrace the challenging terrain of tricky conversations, where honesty meets empathy, and vulnerability meets strength. Join me as we peel back the layers of our lives, delving into the uncomfortable and awkward conversations we'd rather not have. I've been there, where it's easier to avoid a conversation than front up and communicate it. And ultimately, it has cost me; friends, romantic relationships, family members, professional contacts, the list goes on. What I have learned though, is that no matter where you are at in your life, how old you are, what job or work you do, there will always, always, be uncomfortable conversations to be had. We can choose if we continue to avoid them, or to find a way to have them. Let's discover a new perspective on having these conversations. Let's uncover what it takes to get past the uncomfortable icky part, to the end result of clarity, learning and growth, whatever that might look like. Let's grow through what we go through and turn the awkward conversations into straight forward ones!2024 個人的成功 社会科学 自己啓発

  • Estate Planning
    2025/12/01

Talking about death and dying is never easy, but this episode invites listeners to start those hard conversations early so loved ones are spared confusion, conflict and messy legal battles later.

Drawing on real-life stories of contested wills, complex family dynamics and poorly structured estate plans, it explores what can go wrong when wishes aren't clearly documented and communicated.

The discussion then turns practical, outlining how to choose an executor, clarify who receives what, plan for everything from online accounts to investments, and keep documents updated as life changes.

Listeners are encouraged to "start with the end in mind," talk openly with partners and family, and even spell out funeral preferences, so that when death comes, what remains is clarity, care and as little additional pain as possible.
