概要
As we head towards the end of Summer and life gets back into a rhythm, we have the second of our two conversations with Georgie Somerset where she shares with us her take on the transition to a Board role, talks more about the role of Directors and how and why senior leaders might step into Board roles, and about the expectations directors have of their executive team.
Georgie has served on a number of Boards over the years, including as a founding Director of the Red Earth Community Foundation. She runs the family cattle business with her husband and children, and is currently Deputy Chair of the ABC, Chair of Royal Flying Doctor Service (Queensland Section), and a Director of Redd Earth and the Foundation for Rural and Regional Renewal (FRRR).
If this is a path that interests you and you are thinking of stepping into a Board role Georgie has some invaluable information and insights.
