My guest on Episode 20 of “Tight 10 with Dave Dyer” is WNBA player, Grace Van Slooten. Grace grew up in Toledo, OH where she was a stand out basketball player at Notre Dame Academy. She spent her senior year playing hoops at the IMG Academy in Florida. By her high school graduation, she had received over 30 Division 1 full ride offers to play basketball in college. She chose to go to Oregon and after two years transferred to Michigan State (Go Green)! She’s represented the U.S. on three occasions in tournaments overseas and last spring she was selected 39th overall in the WNBA Draft going to the Seattle Storm before being picked up on waivers by the Indiana Fever. She’s also the daughter of my brother and sister-in-law…so that makes her my niece. Ladies and gentleman, it’s professional basketball player, Grace Van Slooten!!!
