In a world that is constantly changing, shifting, and challenging biblical truth, how can Christians remain spiritually steadfast? In this third week of our “Not of This World” series, we look at Jesus’ prayer in John 17 and Peter’s challenge in 2 Peter 3:17–18 to understand what it means to stand true in a shifting world. We’ll examine the danger of spiritual drift, the importance of guarding our spiritual stability, the call to continually grow in grace and the knowledge of Jesus Christ, and why the ultimate goal of our steadfastness is the glory of Christ. The world around us may change, moral boundaries may shift, and new pressures may arise, but Jesus Christ remains the same. Our confidence is not found in a stable world—it is found in an unchanging Savior. Are you intentionally building your life on the Rock?
