This week Pastor JT brings an essential bonus capstone episode to the table. After building the foundation of courage, strength, armor, and love over the last five weeks, we zero in on the ultimate expression of a man’s legacy: fatherhood.
Whether you are a father raising young children, a grandfather, or a spiritual father mentoring the next generation, this episode delivers the blueprint for walking out a Godly patriarch's calling in the home.
The Imprint of the Father is on You: Every dad leaves a spiritual imprint on his children. The way you lead, love, and respond directly shapes how your kids will view their Heavenly Father.
You Must Know God as “Abba” (Romans 8:14–15): You cannot reflect the heart of the Father until you have experienced it yourself. Before you are a provider or a leader to your kids, you are a son who is deeply loved and adopted by God, freed from the spirit of fear and slavery.
The Blueprint of the Perfect Son (John 12:49–50): Look to Jesus as the ultimate Son. He spoke only what the Father gave Him to speak and did only what the Father directed Him to do. As earthly fathers, our goal is to align our authority completely under God’s authority.
Living Out Your Calling as a Father: Being a Godly dad isn't a passive status—it is an active calling. It requires intentionality, spiritual leadership, and humble service at the head of your home.
Pastor JT gave every man an unforgettably powerful action item to lead his home spiritually this week:
Host Communion with your family.
Grab some simple bread and juice or wine.
Start by washing their feet—modeled after Jesus—showing your family that your leadership in the home is rooted in humble service.
Read 1 Corinthians 11:23–26 together.
Lead your family in prayer, thanking Jesus for His body broken and His blood shed on the cross for your household.
Connect with Us: And that officially wraps our Stand Firm, Act Like Men series! Thank you for walking this transformative journey with us. Go back and listen to all six episodes on our church app or website, and keep standing firm, brothers!
