Rashan Brown aka Rush (The Mic) is a Spoken-Word Poet, Actor, Public Speaker, Executive Producer, Educator and Founder of poetry me, please. PMP is a spoken-word poetry platform that provides a stage for poets across the world to showcase their talents through creative verbal expression. Since the founding of poetry me, please in 2021, Rashan has hosted NYC's largest poetry showcases with an average of 300 attendees and ranges over 400 on a bi-monthly basis.
Join in as we talk to Rashan about his experience as a poet, as a Black man in the space, and starting Poetry Please and being an entrepreneur.
