Welcome to Winter Olympics week two here at TVPL! Week one we took you in the steamy world of professional hockey, this week we’ve got the dark side of figure skating with Netflix’s Spinning Out!
The show stars Maya Scodelario as Kat Baker, a young yet slightly over-the-hill competitive figure skater whose journey to the top is cut short with slight failures and riddled with self harm. Her younger sister Serena, (Willow Shields) is slated to overshadow her in the figure skating world, and their tiger mom Carol (January Jones) whose own figure skating dreams were dashed by getting pregnant with Kat.
Can Kat hold together her family, money woes, and her re-ignite her passion for skating before it’s too late?
