 The Ubuntu Bikers Run — Unity, Brotherhood, & Purpose on Two Wheels

Today on Black Dragon Biker TV, we’re highlighting one of the most powerful and inspiring motorcycle movements in the world — The Ubuntu Bikers Run.

Often recognized as the largest breakfast run on the planet, the Ubuntu Run was started by Black bikers in South Africa and is built on the principle of Ubuntu — the idea that “I am because we are.” Ubuntu represents unity, shared humanity, compassion, and peaceful coexistence across race, religion, and nationality.

🏍️ The Ubuntu Run began in 2016 as a way to bring together diverse groups of bikers within South Africa. Founded by Rod McBride, the event was never about dominance or division — it was about connection, brotherhood, and doing good in the name of Ubuntu.

🥞 What started as a simple breakfast run has grown into a multi-national motorcycle movement:

Spanning 19 African countries

Expanding into Portugal and the United States

Drawing massive participation in cities like Johannesburg and Nairobi

Bringing riders together annually in the spirit of unity and service

️ The purpose remains clear: to show that the biker community can be a force for peace, solidarity, and compassion — without erasing culture, identity, or history.
