  • Black Women: Sit TF Down This Holiday Season
    2025/12/22

    Yes, I said it. 🖤

If you’re tired, overwhelmed, grieving, irritated, or simply not feeling the holidays — you are NOT broken or alone.
This season is not meant for overworking, overspending, over giving, or overextending.

Winter is a time for rest, reflection, and restoration, not burnout.

In this episode, I dive into:
    ✨ Holiday blues & grief
    ✨ Family triggers & boundaries
    ✨ Radical self-care (without guilt)
✨ Saying NO and choosing YOU

You don’t have to perform joy.
You don’t have to go into debt.
You don’t have to be anywhere you don’t feel safe.

    Sit down. Breathe. Choose yourself.

  • Neurodivergent and Black: Raising Our Kids in a System not Built for Us
    2025/12/01

Today’s conversation is deeply needed, long overdue, and close to my heart. We are talking about neurodiversity in Black and Brown children—and how systems that were never designed with our children in mind have misnamed, misunderstood, and mishandled their brilliance.

We’re going to explore terms that may be new for some people—like neurodivergent, ADHD, autism, highly sensitive, and highly intuitive—not as diagnoses to fear, but as languages to understand our children in a deeper way.

So many of our children have been labeled too early, punished too often, or ignored altogether. They are seen as behavioral problems, learning problems, or discipline problems—when in truth, they are carrying different nervous systems, different learning styles, and different ways of perceiving the world.

I believe we are witnessing a generation of children who are not broken—but neurobrilliant. Children who are wired differently because they are meant to build something different. And if we are going to love them fully, we must also build schools, systems, and spaces that honor who they actually are.

Today, I’m honored to be joined by someone doing exactly that work in the world.

Our guest is Kira A. Betford, founder of Neurocatalyst Academy, a micro-school designed specifically for Black and Brown neurodivergent children. She is an educator, advocate, visionary, and re-builder of learning spaces that center safety, dignity, creativity, and cultural belonging.

  • The Energetics of Breast Cancer: Examining the Spiritual Essence of Healing
    2025/10/27

Join us for a sacred and heart-centered conversation exploring the spiritual essence of healing and the energetic dimensions of breast cancer.

In this episode, Dr. Kimberly J. Davis, spiritual scholar and founder of the Journey Healing Institute, sits down with Tammi C. Walker—social worker, therapist, life coach, and breast-cancer survivor—to examine how grief, exhaustion, and emotional imbalance manifest in the body, and how spiritual awareness, ancestral wisdom, and self-love open the pathway to restoration.

Together, they explore how Black women’s bodies carry generational grief, how unprocessed emotions create energetic blocks, and how healing the heart—the true home of the breast—requires surrender, stillness, and the courage to return to love.

💞 This episode is for every woman navigating prevention, diagnosis, treatment, or remission—an invitation to restore harmony, trust the body’s wisdom, and reconnect with the divine energy within.
