Dance and community come together in this episode of the Ceroc Inspire Dance Inspiration Podcast as Liz and Mark are joined by Sonia, a new taxi dancer at Derby and Burton, to share her journey into dancing and becoming part of the team.
Sonya shares how she first discovered Ceroc, what it felt like walking into a class for the first time, and how quickly dancing became more than just a hobby. From early nerves and self doubt to building confidence and supporting beginners on the dance floor, this is an honest and inspiring conversation about growth, courage and community.
We also talk about what it really means to be a taxi dancer, why attitude matters more than ability, and how dance can bring people together in ways you never expect.
This is the first episode in Sonya’s journey as she develops within the Ceroc Inspire team, with future episodes following her progress towards teaching.
