  • SATELLITE OF GOD w Daniel Rekshan: Disclosure, Hypnosis, Dreams, & The Truth About Chris Bledsoe's UFO of God
    2025/07/24

After Daniel’s extensive research uncovered conclusively that the “UFO of God” event, after which Chris Bledsoe’s book was named, was in actuality a man-made satellite, he discovered that everyone involved was entirely uninterested in his evidence.

We explore why Chris’ UFO can be both a satellite and a genuine contact event through the ancient logic of ceremonial magic, and how this model seems to work better than any other for making sense of contact experiences.

We get into how the Bledsoe’s can be totally honest and genuine while still potentially being manipulated by the powerful figures in their orbits. We also discuss the nature of dream space, extending it beyond the realms of sleep and into the dream of the world itself, the ethical concerns regarding hypnotic regressions and the metaphysics of collapsing potentialities, ways of framing the numinous without losing your mind, and much more.

This is an important episode and any sharing is greatly appreciated - People need to hear what Daniel has to say here.

Daniel offers client sessions in exchange for donations and Rev recommends working with him. He also has five books, some channeled, and all pertaining to the subjects discussed in this episode. All of his work can be found at https://dseti.org/

  • J. David Osborne / Takashi Miike
    2025/05/13

    J. David Osborne is the author of a sizeable collection of novels which range from dreamy prose set in a gulag, to gritty and comedic crime noir, and arriving in his latest novel Gods Fare No Better at a mystical cyberpunk epic dedicated to his favorite filmmaker, the infamous Takashi Miike.

We talk about three of Miike's films in particular (Ichi, Gozu, & Dead Or Alive), mastery of craft through total immersion, artists who are above critique, personal projections in art and critique, the absurdity of the political climate, and we talk about the process of making books, specifically Gods Fair... the fantastic cover art for which our own Kurt Huggins made.

David and his colleagues at Broken River Books all collaborate to promote one another's work outside of the holy see of major publishing companies and modern censorship in order to preserve their limitless, artistic freedom. All of their work is excellent and well worth checking out.

We touch on some difficult topics, and films, in this one so consider this a warning for sensitive people.

You can pick up a copy here, and we highly suggest you do.

  • Reclaim the World of Dreams w Amaya Rourke
    2025/03/16

I think of Amaya Rourke as one of the most honest people in the world of alternative spirituality. Her latest work follows this same theme, born out of the pure need to navigate the neverending onslaught of information we are all bombarded with and help others cultivate their intuition in an age of prolific doubt, constant adrenal stimulation, endless contrary opinions, and the overarching and very much intentional hijacking of our ability to imagine, both as individuals and collectively.

We discuss Harriet Tubman’s unshakable trust in her visions which had life or death consequences in the underground railroad, our total dependence on the health of our dreaming to enable us to imagine better solutions, the powers of trust and conversely doubt, the dangers of outsourcing information in your practice, and much more.

We typically don’t make a point to promote anything at all on this show, but this current dare I say altruistic work is clearly much needed and I highly encourage everyone to read Amaya’s recent substack posts and, if you’re vibing, consider signing up for the course. The last day for enrollment is March 19th so don’t sleep on this if it rings bells for you.

    2024/05/23

In our most meta episode to date, Chad Andro from the fantastic podcast Radical Elphame joins us to talk about people talking about a movie! The impossibly numerous ways people have discovered meaning within Stanley Kubrick's The Shining, as seen through the eyes of the magician, have brought Chad to a more holistic understanding of this phenomenon which we were delighted to explore together. This was such a fun conversation and Chad is a joy.

  • The Beach Bum w Joe Seul + Scene v Community
    2024/03/15

Florida man, prolific musician, burgeoning standup comic, and old friend of the Rev's from his scene kid band days(daze) Joe Seul joined us to discuss the Harmony Korine film, The Beach Bum.

Joe brings a fresh and almost, dare I say, pure sort of curiosity and sense of exploration to his myriad creative projects. From a tall, black, laser and smoke-spraying monolith at his live shows, to a Galapagos nature video shot on-location and featuring an original score, to an acoustic live show alone in the woods that was literally for the birds, a controversial dip into talk show host, and on to his next horizon: standup comedy.

We chat about this stuff and the state of things in general, reminisce about Florida, how scenes are not necessarily communities and vice-versa, the tendency to push big red buttons, and the elbow brushing with insanity that some gifted artists are prone to. Joe was also kind enough to donate the sick opening track (Selena Gomez [#4]) which you can find on his website below along with other wild stuff he's done.
