Greg was on vacation this week (but is back for today’s show), Brad has paid TMZ and has some pictures to show of his week.

WWE travelled to Boston this week. Someone probably paid $60 for a couple of Sam Adams Summer Ales.

SmackDown was a pretty good show. Sami is now a SmackDown star. We get too much MFT.

Alexa vs Piper Niven started us off with a fun match. Alexa picked up the win.

Melo Don’t Miz took on Fraziom with Melo and Miz dissension and a win.

Drew MacIntyre tells us it’s all his fault.

DIY and the Street Profits had a great back and forth match. Maybe we see a 3 on 3 match with these teams in future.

R-Truth and Ron Killings showed up backstage… it really depends on which direction his hat is turned.

Finally we get MFTs and the Usos (Jimmy, Sami and Jacob) in our main event.

John Cena welcomes WWE back to “Bizarro world” and is serenaded by the Bell Centre crowd. The face that used to run the place gives a promo and is interrupted by a face we wish we saw less, Logan Paul. After Cena is jumped by Drew, Cody comes for the save; setting up a tag match later in the evening, and Cena/Logan for Paris.

Tag Matches are the theme of tonight, with acronyms abound. MCMG take on MFT.

After the match Solo is bragging, and GM Nicholas brings out a hometown favourite Sami Zayn to face him.

Charlotte and Alexa have their championship celebration/Alexa’s birthday party. Interrupted by Chelsea Green and the Secret Hervice. GM Nicholas is back again with his own gift, a new WWE Referee and a match between Charlotte and Chelesa… and a birthday cake spot…

R-Truth and Cena mime backstage, and Cena comments on how Truth made a kid cry in Brussels and went weird there for 5 months trying to ruin wrestling.

In our Main Event, John Cena and Cody Rhodes take on Logan Paul and Drew MacIntyre.

Our two night SummerSlam has almost arrived, and what did WWE do to prepare us?

John Cena, in his best Big Show impersonation, turned face tonight… maybe? We debate the genuineness of John now becoming a face… and does it make Cody a heel?

An AEW match breaks out on WWE TV, with titles that aren’t WWEs being defended on their show. Tony Khan is either having an aneurysm or needs a kleenex.

Honestly, this was a skippable SmackDown. Watch WWE Unreal instead, or maybe season 9 of Dallas.
