Our favorite self produced top 100 release chart artist is back! Zach is back! As a returning guest, Zach Petersen. This time we chat about his zest to create music when the inspiration hits. He also talks about his AI videos and his plans to do a little more acoustic. Lately he has been taking a break from songwriting and putting his energy into his artwork. Tattoo quality art, portraits and realism so if anyone is interested in his tattoos, find him on Facebook, Instagram, YouTube… pretty much anywhere, Spotify…Zach Petersen is an awesome google search. That is Petersen with an “E”. Besides us having a bit of fun talking to my new AI friend Bernard, Zach tells us a bit more of where he got started and what his future plans are. Also he gives us an incredible LIVE acoustic performance! Thank you so much Zach. He is so dang talented, where is his manager?! wow. Anyways we had a lot of fun and he will be back with us next season for sure. Soundtrack: Zach Petersen -Throne -Locked n Loaded -Guilty -Riot

  • OAS - What Is Tony Listening To Now?
    2026/03/10

Ahhh, another episode of “What Is Tony Listening To Now”. Thank you Candie for that great disclaimer! Love it! Tony has been listening to a nice range of music lately. He goes avant-garde, a little indie-garage and honestly, I never heard a cover of Warlock before. Tony gives us some Blues and a soundtrack of blue plus more. Does anyone like Autolux, Legendary Pink Dots? Because he loves to mix it up. I like the experimental picks but nothing beats that ending with the Supertramp sax. The most important thing to take away from this episode is to take his advice: “Remember to listen to whatever the F you want to” - Tony Sandoval Question? Comments? Suggestions? email Tony at cryovato@gamail.com

  • T Morningstarr
    2026/03/05

    T. That is what they call him, Tony’s ‘ol-skool Sacramento punk rocker friend. A Musician and a songwriter with a Pan-Theist perspective on life. As an artist T finds himself taking inspiration and creating as it comes. Not forcing ideas buy letting them happen naturally. T gives us some insight on the original music clip that we sampled in this episode. It is titled Hell For the Win. It was produced by Tom Jimenez of Audio Edge Recordings and it is more of an off shoot and not part of the current project T has going on which is called Morningstarr, a thrash/metal style band. The name having a conceptual meaning. Also in this special extended episode we introduced a new segment we named Spiritual Herb Lady! It is a quick health and wellness tip with Mz Adicia from Heal Holistics in OKC, OK. T was very nice to let us try it out on his episode and we are going to keep it. Also thank you T for hanging out with us. Everyone follow the progression of Morningstarr at T’s Instagram account Kingtz_row. He is promoting his art concept "The Bone Collector" a series of select works that will be managed by his art agent, Irons. On a side note, Sol happens to be a gifted musician. He is currently looking for bands that need new or more members. If you wanna give him a try-out, hit him up! Thank you so much Sol and Irons for hanging out with us LIVE. You never know what is going to happen over here at SDBD. I can't edit anything out so there it is, in the raw. With that being said, the soundtrack for this episode had a couple of hiccups. I apologize to our SLC local bands, CT and RW. That's the part of the raw charm. Good Luck Sol! We will be following and eagerly awaiting the awakening of "The Bone Collector". • Three Parts Acid
    2026/02/05

Out of Portland, Oregon. Oh my. Seriously, oh my. Improvisational, psychedelic, metal, rock, progressive… it’s all right here in this band of two people, Three Parts Acid! They are such a talented duo! This is music that was made to take us on a journey. Specifically, these 15 min long songs. So good. Not to worry though there are plenty of standard length songs to. All guitar solos are declared lit AF!The big take away here is to check out the new self titled album Three Parts Acid on Bandcamp! The new stuff: Shepard and Theriac. I personally recommend another 15 min long song Sleepy DJ’s Radio Acid Show. Funk plus more? yes please.Even though these bros sound perfectly awesome as just the two of them, they are currently looking for a singer and a drummer so if you are in the Portland area and interested, hit ‘em up. Also, quick shout out to fellow Portland music scene friends, Wonderstump and Black Flash. yo!Thank you Dave and Pat for hanging out with us LIVE on SDBD and we look forward to listening to your new music. Please come back! Y’all are always welcome anytime!
