Season 1 · Episode 1
Shri Dasganu Maharaj opens this sacred charitra with humble salutations to Ganesha, Saraswati, and the Sadguru — and then takes us to Shegaon, to the very first darshan of Shri Gajanan Maharaj.
Here the world meets Maharaj for the first time: a radiant avadhoot, utterly indifferent to comfort or convention, picking up and eating grains from discarded leaf-plates. When thirsty, he drinks without hesitation from water others would call impure. To Bankatlal Agarwal, who first recognizes him, this is no ordinary man — it is a being beyond body-consciousness, established in supreme detachment (vairagya).
In this episode: - Katha — Maharaj's first appearance at Shegaon and Bankatlal's darshan - Adhyatma — what "videhi" (beyond-the-body) detachment truly means - Aacharan — loosening our grip on "pure vs impure," comfort, and the world's opinions.
Core message: A true Sadguru sees the one Divine in everything — clean or unclean, honoured or ignored. This chapter invites us to soften the ego and let go of worldly distinctions.
