概要
In this powerful message, Apostle Junie Kelley reminds us that faith is not proven in calm conditions but revealed in the storm. As seen in Mark 4, when the disciples obeyed Jesus and crossed the lake, the storm still arose and it affected everything around them. Yet Jesus was already present in the boat. The lesson is clear. Standing on God’s Word does not exempt us from storms, but it anchors us through them. When fear speaks louder than faith, we risk focusing more on the waves than the Savior who already gave the promise to get to the other side.
Apostle Kelley further teaches that storms often expose abandonment. When pressure hits, people may leave, but God never does. The rebuke Jesus gave the wind shows that rebuke is an act of strong disapproval, and believers have authority to evict storms that attempt to overstay their welcome. When Jesus spoke, the storm obeyed immediately. This sermon challenges us to stop negotiating with fear, exercise our spiritual authority, and remember that the same Savior who calms the sea is already in our boat. The storm may be loud, but the Savior is greater.
