- The EPIRB logged a single weak position approximately 39 miles west-southwest of Tillamook Bay before failing.
- Julie survived six days afloat on a 4 ft by 2.5 ft fiberglass panel after the vessel sank by noon on June 16.
- She had two life vests, a handheld VHF radio at 40% battery, three liters of water, trail mix, crackers, and a sealed chart case on a lanyard.
- On the morning of June 22 at 6:41 AM, a utility lineman found her alive on a gravel beach at Otter Inlet still gripping the fiberglass panel.
