Carol Rosenstein founded Music Mends Minds in 2014 to help with her husband's Parkinsons. In the 12 years since it's founding, over 25 organizations and news sources worldwide have covered the Music Mends Minds story and their philosophy on the transformative power of music on the mind. The research behind our mission about the effects of music on the brain to prevent neurocognitive decline has been and is actively being conducted and expanded across the globe from the U.S. to Europe and Asia.
