In Luke 6:12–36, Jesus forms a people for his kingdom and then teaches them how kingdom life works. As Children of the Most High our lives should resemble the love and mercy we’ve received from God our Father. As Christians, Jesus commands us to love our enemies, bless others, pray for those who have hurt us and give freely without demanding payback.
