概要
Prof. Llewellyn E. van Zyl (Ph.D) is a multi-award-winning psychologist and data scientist, and one of the leading voices on building psychologically safe and ethically governed artificial intelligence systems.
With over 100 scientific publications, 13 books, and 50+ keynotes, his work sits at the intersection of data-science, positive psychology, and AI governance.
He helps organisations design, evaluate, and audit artificial intelligence systems that measure and develop people in ways that are psychologically safe, scientifically grounded, and worthy of human trust.
He strongly believes that the AI systems we build should empower people to understand themselves, help them make better decisions, and to help them take control of their own lives. But they should not replace their judgment, nor nudge them toward outcomes they never chose for themselves. That is the standard he holds every artificial intelligence system to.
Prof. van Zyl is a Professor of Positive Psychology at the Optentia Research Unit (North-West University) and the Chief Solutions Architect at Psynalytics, where they are developing digital twins and agentic AI systems aimed at assessing and developing human potential.
