 Join Jim and Greg for the Tuesday 3 Martini Lunch as they welcome the arrival of some sanity and some protection for immigration officials in Minnesota, examine Democrats’ push to shut down the government over ICE despite one glaring flaw, and react to a bizarre NYPD investigation involving a raccoon.

First, they’re pleasantly surprised to see local law enforcement finally break up protests outside a hotel where immigration agents are believed to be staying. It’s a welcome shift that may stem from President Trump’s calls with Minnesota Gov. Tim Walz and Minneapolis Mayor Jacob Frey. But Greg also notes Walz's very slippery language when claiming he's always cooperated in handing over criminals to ICE.

Next, they roll their eyes, as Democrats seem determined to shut down the federal government again with another deadline looming. The Democrats are refusing to fund ICE but Pennsylvania Sen. John Fetterman is pointing out that shutting down the government won't shut down ICE. So it it would just be another political stunt.

Finally, they end on a lighter note by highlighting an NYPD officer placed on modified duty while an investigation proceeds into his fatal shooting of a raccoon that was allegedly attacking people. Greg explains why he hates raccoons, and both question the wisdom of spending time and resources probing something so trivial.
