The account follows the radar debris signature detected at 8:53 PM, the sirens activated a minute after the warning, and the destruction that included a 1920s church and a family storm shelter that collapsed inward. It continues into the hours after, when a triage center formed in a parking lot near the high school and the local critical access hospital treated forty-two patients in three hours, and into the legal fight over shelter design that followed.
