    While listening to the ALL IN podcast recently that was talking about lamenting. Morgan said something that really spoke to my heart. “No flowers bloom in all seasons”. What a profound thought for me. I love flowers and during this time of year they are all around our property. As I walk outside each day, I see trees surrounding our neighborhood. That got me thinking about the significance of trees in the standard works. The Garden of Eden, The Garden of Gethsemane, The Tree of Life and The Sacred Grove.     Cindy grew up in Portand Oregon. From her earliest memories she experienced abuse from the hands of the adults who were to care for her. She emailed me, "My life has been full of trials but the attonement has been my lifeline since I was baptized back in 2010. Through Schizoaffective disorder, mental health breakdowns, grief from miscarriage after miscarriage, the attonement of Christ has been there. Comforting me. Sustaining me. And giving me the strength to endure the trials that have molded me. Refined me. And loved me when I have felt unlovable.” Join me today as Cindy shares her story of seeking light amidst her storms. President Monson said, “Our Heavenly Father … knows that we learn and grow and become stronger as we face and survive the trials through which we must pass.”
