Olympic rower (and gold medal winner) Susanne Wereley talks about her journey as a young rower in Canada, her success at the Olympic Games, and her new leadership role with AthletesCAN - an advocacy group helping high performance athletes navigate all kinds of challenges in their sporting careers.

Kate Current went to university with academics in mind. The civil engineering student went on to win the 2022 National USports championship in the 1500m and the 3000m and was two-time athlete of the year at the University of Western Ontario. After that, her running career took off leading to representing Canada world championships, Pan Am Games, World Cross Country Championships... and the 2024 Olympics in Paris.

Any Canadian sports fan will recognize Scott Russell. After nearly 40 years in the media business, 17 Olympic Games, Hockey Night in Canada, and decades' worth of other sports broadcast, he's moved on from CBC and embarks on a new career. Scott's passion for Canadian sport is unmatched and is, frankly, contagious!

Paralympian Greg Stewart is a giant. At 7 foot 2 inches, almost everybody notices his size before they realize he's missing his left arm below the elbow. He was born like that, and never really considered it a handicap. He competed at a high level in volleyball and basketball, before setting off on a Paralympic journey which resulted in two gold medals.

Aside from being a two-time Olympian in the 3000 meter steeplechase, Regan Yee is now training and competing full-time with Under Armour's Mission Run Dark Sky team. She talks about training in Arizona, shooting video for social media while on the run, and what makes steeplechase difficult compared to traditional middle-distance running.

Two-time Olympians Sarah Douglas explains the logistics of shipping your boat around the world, learning the wind in the south of France, and watching her training partner win a medal in Paris... also - taking some time to decompress, and plan her upcoming wedding!!

Evan Dunfee (Richmond, BC) is a three-time Canadian Olympian in the sport of race-walking. He won a bronze medal in Tokyo, and narrowly missed the podium in his two other appearances. He talks about the evolution of the sport and its rules, competing when you're not at your best, and how to tell if a car is honking at you in support, or telling you to get out of the way. Dunfee is Canada's most famous race walker, and even got to film a segment with cast members from Saturday Night Live!

Prior to 2024, Canada had never won an Olympic medal in fencing. Enter - Eleanor Harvey. Overcoming some equipment issues just prior to the event at the Grand Palais, Harvey fought bout after bout and found her way to the bronze medal match.
