概要

This episode of Stuttering Since ’02 has Jared and his mom (who has known him “forever”) sitting down for a chat about stuttering. Jared asks his mom when she first noticed he stuttered and what she did to help him with his speech through preschool, elementary school, middle school and high school. He knows a lot of the story but hears for the first time about some of the steps his mom took to learn about stuttering and how she could best support him. His mom shares what she thinks was a high point in Jared’s journey, as well as her perspective on what was a particularly low point. Finally, Jared’s mom shares her advice for other parents of kids who stutter.
