When Sam Masterson returns to the industrial town of Iverstown, he is drawn back into the life of Martha Ivers and her politically powerful husband, District Attorney Walter O’Neil. Old loyalties, buried memories, and growing suspicion shape this tense noir drama, adapted for radio by Richard Allen Simmons. Guest screen director Lewis Milestone appears in connection with the broadcast.
