At the age of 19, as a wide receiver at Florida State University and champion kickboxer who had just had a fight aired on ESPN, Scott was involved in a car accident that broke his neck and left him paralyzed from the chest down. Despite being told he would likely spend the rest of his life confined to a wheelchair, Scott knew that he had a choice to turn the impossible goal of walking into a reality.

Not only did Scott make it out of the confines of the wheelchair, but he went on to qualify for the prestigious Million Dollar Round Table with less than 8% of the world’s most successful life insurance and financial services professionals, wrote a best selling book, disrupted an entire industry in Southeast Asia, and has traveled around the world speaking about resilience.
