  • Understanding the Mind - The Vedanta Way
    2026/05/02

The mind indeed is mysterious. Nobody has seen it, but we know it exists. We have thoughts, perceptions, and emotions, and we know all this happens in the mind. So, it does exist, but where does it exist, how does it function, and how and why was it created?

This episode is based on the understanding and analysis of the Mind as taught by Vedanta. We will cover the following aspects of the Mind:

    1. Source of the Mind

    2. Evolution of the Mind

    3. Structure of the Mind

    4. Functioning of the Mind

    5. States of the Mind

    6. Qualities or Gunas of the Mind

  • World Is Mithya (False)
    2026/04/25

In this episode, we’ll discuss the often-quoted statement in Vedanta that the World is Mithya. The Sanskrit word mithya is translated as “unreal,” “false,” or “not real.” Some take the idea a step further and interpret it to mean that the world is an illusion—reasoning that if something is unreal, it must be illusory.

But is the world truly mithya, is it false or an illusion? We experience the world “out there.” We interact with it every day, and the objects within it appear real and tangible. We can see them, touch them, examine them, and investigate them. The world contains countless objects—from tiny atoms to vast galaxies. So how can the world be unreal, or an illusion? Are all these objects unreal? Are all of them illusory? On what basis does Vedanta teach that the world is mithya?

Based on the teaching of Vedanta, we will try and explain what mithya really means.

  • Cosmic Wonders Unveiled: The James Webb Space Telescope
    2026/04/18

In this episode, we’ll discuss the amazing discoveries of the James Webb Space Telescope. These discoveries have shattered the foundation of the Big Bang theory.

They have discovered that the universe is much larger than it seems. The age of the universe is 13.7 billion years, but they have discovered a galaxy which is 33 billion light years away. How is this possible?

This episode proposes a fresh perspective for understanding the universe. It suggests that the expansion of space may be related to the stretching of the time fabric, which causes distant galaxies to appear farther away than they actually are. This optical illusion, created by nature, makes the universe seem larger than anticipated.

  • Distinct Domains for Classical and Quantum Physics
    2026/04/11

In this episode, we’ll demonstrate that classical physics and quantum physics operate in distinct domains—classical physics governs the tangible, physical world, while quantum physics pertains to the more subtle universe made up of waveforms in the mind.

Although this may sound remarkable, we will use scientific reasoning and logical arguments to establish that this distinction is indeed factual.

The laws of classical physics govern all the macro objects in the physical world. While the laws of quantum physics govern the waveforms which are present in the mind.

  • Are We Looking at the Same Trees?
    2026/04/04

If we look at space in terms of how much time light takes to reach us, a new perspective regarding the world opens out. Many hidden mysteries come to the fore. We begin to see that each one of us doesn’t exactly see the same object but see different versions of the same object. This indicates how the universe is actually constructed. This perspective matches with the teaching of Vedanta. After listening to this podcast, we hope you’ll see the universe from a new and fresh perspective.

  • Why Happiness Never Lasts—and Where to Find It
    2026/03/27

In this episode, we undertake a careful examination of happiness. Each of us experiences brief moments of happiness, yet we desire this happiness to be lasting and uninterrupted. When it inevitably fades, it gives rise to dissatisfaction and frustration.

To address this, we will explore the true source of happiness and seek to understand why it eludes us despite our constant pursuit.

  • Multiverses: Yes, They Exist
    2026/03/21

This episode argues that the multiverse does indeed exist, but not in the form commonly proposed by mainstream scientific theories. Rather than speculative parallel worlds, we present a more precise and coherent interpretation of the multiverse grounded in a proper understanding of concepts behind quantum physics and the core teaching of Vedanta.

Each observer, through the act of observation, brings into existence a unique and exclusive universe. In this sense, no two observers inhabit the same universe. The existence of countless observers therefore implies the existence of countless universes.

In this episode, drawing upon the principles of quantum physics, we will demonstrate how multiverses are not merely speculative ideas but arise naturally from the fundamental nature of observation and the wave function.

  • Understanding the difference between Brahman and Ishvara
    2026/03/14

In this episode we will discuss the difference between Brahman and Ishvara. Brahman and Ishvara are often used interchangeably, but are they truly the same? While their fundamental essence is identical—both rooted in Awareness, the underlying reality of everything—their functions and modes of operation differ.

This discussion explores the relationship between Brahman and Ishvara, focusing on how Awareness forms their shared core nature. We will examine how Brahman, devoid of attributes, transforms into Ishvara, who possesses distinct qualities and attributes. Additionally, we aim to understand what those qualities and attributes of Ishvara are, and how they shape its role in the universe.
