The Scooby gang got an unfortunate update for the 1980s, with Velma being replaced by the insufferable Scrappy-Doo. Mystery solving gets over-shadowed by hijinks and too many Christmas references. And Bethany’s got some theories about the influence of Ronald Reagan on the episode’s villain…
