For five months after the killings, she posted emotional TikToks, reached out to true crime creators asking them to cover the case, and delivered a eulogy at the funeral that investigators would later call "odd." Then came the arrest in July, with law enforcement citing "mountains of physical and digital evidence."
But here's what hasn't been disclosed: the murder weapon. The motive. Any physical evidence placing Sarah at the scene of the crime. What has been released publicly? TikTok posts. DMs. Comments on true crime content. A eulogy that rubbed people the wrong way. Her own grandfather—the man who lost his daughter Kristin in this—says nothing he's seen puts the gun in Sarah's hand.
Court documents reveal James Brock was on probation for drug offenses involving methamphetamine. In 2019, an eleven-year-old Sarah told police she felt unsafe due to drug use in the home. In 2022, James accused Kristin of trying to run him over with a car—then dropped the charges and married her. The defense has retained a forensic neuropsychologist who evaluated Sarah multiple times. That report is expected after Christmas. And the prosecution's key witness? The little sister, now six years old.
