Key Highlights: - Grounds of Intercession: Jesus intercedes to counter condemnation, affirming that the devil can accuse but cannot condemn. Only the Judge has the authority to pass sentence. - Who is the Condemner? From the Greek katakrinō, condemnation means to judge worthy of punishment. Yet, Jesus alone is the Judge of the living and the dead (Romans 2:16; 14:10). - Correction vs. Condemnation: Saints are called to lovingly correct one another, not to judge. His intercession is not only through prayer but also through His blood. - Living in Consciousness of His Advocacy: Our eternal salvation rests on Christ’s finished work and His ongoing advocacy. This is not a license to sin but a call to love God more deeply and walk in the light (1 John 1:6–7).
