In the latest Skiing is Believing podcast meets episode, officially brought to you by Ski Racing Media, Alan and I caught up with two of France's finest slalom skiers - Caitlin McFarlane and Victor Muffat-Jeandet.
With Caitlin, we discussed her World Cup season and what it meant to be at her first finals, the strength of the Women's French slalom team and the women's slalom scene.
She shared some of the more difficult moments of recent seasons with injury and the joy of her first Olympics in February and first finals in March.
In part two, with Victor we discuss the incredible depth of the Men's French slalom team and what it is like to be oldest slalom skier on the World Cup following Dave Ryding's retirement.
Victor also shared his ambition to continue for more seasons even at 37, having missed the 2026 Olympics, does Victor have his sights set on 2030 at home?
To round things up, Alan and I give the latest updates on this week's FIS Presidential Elections with Johan Eliasch looking to see off challengers Vicky Gosling (GBR) & Alexander Ospelt (LIE) to confirm a third term. We will provide a full-election episode later this week - so stay tuned!
