  • AFTER 33 YEARS. SHE'S ASKED ME THIS BEFORE.
    2026/08/10

My wife Shari and I got away for the weekend.

These little escapes have become important to us. It's a chance to reconnect, talk about the future, make plans and occasionally pretend we have our sh*t figured out.

But this trip took an unexpected turn.

Shari usually doesn't ask me too many questions about my career.

After 33 years of marriage to a BIG dreamer, I'm pretty sure she's heard enough ideas to last several lifetimes.

But she's quietly watched me dig in on one particular idea: The Late Night Radio Show.

At one point she looked at me and said, "Whatever you're planning seems very personal."

    She was right.

    Then she started asking questions.

Real questions. Why this show? Why now? What am I trying to create? And why does this one seem to matter so much?

Since I apparently can't experience an emotional moment without eventually turning it into content, I grabbed my phone and started recording.

There was no plan. No lighting. No microphones. No prepared answers.Just Shari asking me about a dream I'm still trying to figure out myself.

I originally recorded this just for us—for history's sake. I wanted something I could look back on someday if this crazy vision actually becomes what I see in my head.

Then I thought… maybe this is exactly the kind of conversation the show is supposed to be about.

    So here it is.

Before the show. Before we know if it works. Before I know how the story ends.

This is what the dream looks like right now

  • THIS JUST MIGHT BE WHAT I'VE BEEN PRAYING FOR
    2026/02/18

SHINE with Terry Jaymes – Confidence, The Universe, Relationships & The Butter Show 🧈✨ (LIVE)

    Tonight felt different.

I can’t explain it, but I feel like I’m getting my confidence back. Not the loud, radio-guy confidence. The grounded kind. The earned kind. The “I’ve been through some things and I’m still standing” kind.

    And here’s the wild part…

I have this very strong feeling that the universe is taking me absolutely nowhere special.

    Not to a mountaintop.
    Not to a grand finale.
    Not to some glitter-covered destiny.

    Just… forward.

    And honestly? That feels amazing.

We had a bunch of new faces in the live chat tonight (which fired me up more than you know), and I genuinely feel like some real friendships are forming here. That’s not algorithm. That’s energy.

I also answered two powerful emails:

    • One from a man who feels like he’s losing his wife — and doesn’t know how to stop it.
    • Another about success… but this one came with a warning that most people ignore.

Plus — we talked about the debut of The Butter Show 🧈 (yes, it’s happening… and yes, it’s exactly as weird as it sounds).

If you’re in a season of rebuilding confidence…
If you feel like life isn’t taking you somewhere “special” but you’re still hopeful…
If you want honest conversation without the motivational fluff…

    You’re in the right place.

    Welcome to SHINE.
    We don’t sparkle.
    We glow from friction.

  • MY 40 YEAR OLD WOMAN WORKOUT AND HOW TO BE A MASTER AT MANIFESTING
    2026/02/05

Today on SHINE with Terry Jaymes… we covered cardio, butter, emotional spirals, and hope. You know — wellness.

Terry kicks things off with an update on his latest fitness era: white woman workouts. That’s right. We’re talking highly committed, mildly aggressive, spiritually confusing exercise energy. If you’ve ever stretched like you’re healing generational trauma while secretly competing with everyone in the room, this one’s for you.

Then we check in on the delicious empire known as The Butter Show (yes, butter journalism is still happening and yes, it still matters).

But the real turn? The gym observations.

Terry dives into the haunting aura of desperation surrounding older guys at the gym — men mid-rep, mid-identity crisis, still fighting to become the version of themselves they feel inside. It’s funny. It’s uncomfortable. It’s weirdly heartfelt. And Terry makes the case that the women in their lives might need to understand what’s really going on behind the protein shakes and unnecessary supersets.

Then it’s email time, where things get real:
How do you stay in a positive mindset when life is going good — without sabotaging it, overthinking it, or waiting for the other shoe to drop?

    Classic SHINE territory:
Laugh. Observe humanity. Accidentally have an emotional breakthrough.

    If you’ve ever:
    • reinvented yourself at the gym
    • emotionally processed through snacks
    • felt hopeful and suspicious about it

    Welcome home.

  • WTF IS SHINE with Terry Jaymes
    2026/01/14

I couldn't let well enough alone. My new LIVE STREAMING show starts Tuesday 1/20. So I took to YouTube, Facebook and Twitch to let you know what to look for and to play my new theme song. That turned into a talk about taking responsibility for all your thoughts and actions. To quote one of the viewers "You just did your first show."

  • HOT FOR TEACHER
    2025/09/03

Another round of uncomfortably honest fun with Terry Jaymes on MAKE IT WEIRD.

This time we dive into the things you’d never admit at a dinner party but secretly can’t stop thinking about:

Why half the planet seems to have had a thing for their teacher (and the awkward fallout).

The lies people are currently living like they’re starring in their own low-budget soap opera.

And the absolute art of taking something beautiful in your life… and smashing it with both hands like it’s a piñata full of regret.

It’s raw. It’s hilarious. It’s uncomfortable in all the best ways. And as always, no small talk—just straight into the deep end.

  • WHY WOMAN LIKE DIRTBAGS
    2025/08/25

Terry Jaymes is back with another round of raw, unfiltered calls where strangers skip the BS and dive straight into the weird.

First up is Casey, who opens up about one of the worst nights of her life—turns out rock bottom comes with a few decent lessons. Next, Sasan takes us on a ride from shattered bones to the eternal mystery of why women keep chasing dirtbag dudes like it’s an Olympic sport. Finally, Ed calls in, and let’s just say things got spicy fast—this one’s definitely not safe to play in church.

It’s messy, it’s awkward, it’s hilarious, and it’s all happening LIVE. No script, no safety net… just Terry and three callers proving once again that small talk is for cowards.

  • IF YOUR EX ROASTED YOUR NAKED BODY
    2025/08/18

MAKE IT WEIRD – Hosted by Terry Jaymes

The Soul Excavator is back, baby—and he’s not here to play patty-cake with your feelings. Terry kicked things off with Sarah, who bravely answered the brutal question: “If your ex had to describe your naked body in one sentence, what kind of verbal chainsaw massacre would it be?” What started as a roast of the flesh turned into a plot twist nobody saw coming.

Next up, Mellow Daniello—cool name, deep soul—got hit with the question about the last time she felt broken. Instead of a cliché, she dropped one of the most raw, thoughtful answers in the young history of the show. It was like therapy, but with more swearing.

And then came Greg. Oh, Greg. He went full confessional booth and told us who he really is when nobody’s watching. Spoiler alert: it’s not what you think… unless you think he’s a philosopher trapped in a dude’s body.

Every call was a reminder why this show is catching fire—no small talk, no filters, just brave souls laying themselves bare. The weird keeps growing, and so does the tribe.

  • HOW TO DEAL WITH PURE EVIL (And Other Wisdoms From Strangers)
    2025/08/11

Terry usually keeps it tight with 2–3 callers, but today he broke his own damn rule and let the weird flow way past curfew. Calib jumps in first to give Terry some unsolicited life advice (because who doesn’t love that?), Zach’s back with a purpose update that may or may not involve an existential crisis, Curt and Terry dive into how to deal with pure evil without getting arrested, Terri calls for a full-on gut-check, and Elise closes the show by wrestling with the whole “faith” thing — and whether it’s a beautiful guiding light or just a cosmic prank.

It’s raw, unfiltered, and probably not safe for your delicate sensibilities… so hit play.
