High achievers don't work TOWARDS goals—they live FROM them. Create a clear vision of yourself as the person who's already achieved the goal state. This doesn't draw you toward the goal; it pulls the goal toward you.
The Right Questions Instead of talking about your program, ask:
- What would it feel like to have achieved this?
- How would you operate differently?
- How would you show up in the world?
- What kinds of things would you be doing?
Your Future Self as a Decision Filter Example: An Olympic athlete who's tired asks "What would my Olympic self do?" Maybe not a full workout, but stretching or mental training. The future self makes better decisions than the current self who hasn't achieved the goal yet.
