What does identity in Christ look like when your life doesn't fit the mold you expected it would? Join us as we chat with Cheryl Quimba, a mother of two, whose parenting journey has inspired her dedication to understanding neurodivergent parenting for the past seven years. Cheryl is the founder of What Helps, LLC, a resource dedicated to supporting those navigating Pathological Demand Avoidance (PDA), OCD/Scrupulosity, and creating families of Felt- Safety. With a Bachelor of Science in Pastoral Counseling and certifications in PDA, she uses transformative insights to provide practical resources and guidance for families. Cheryl is a parent coach, author, and speaker who has shared her expertise at conferences, on Portland's KATU 2 Afternoon Live, and in various community settings. She has been married to her husband, BJ, for 21 years -the majority of which have been in full-time ministry! Together with their two dogs, they love living life as a twice adoptive, multi-cultural, unschooling, imperfect, Jesus centered family. You'll feel seen and encouraged as Cheryl shares her insights, joys, and experiences, and what keeps her grounded in her identity in Christ.
Hosted by Summer Shore and Melissa Campbell. Music by Nathaniel Rodrigues
