We are so excited to have a “Miracle on Ice” - Olympic Gold Medalist – Ken Morrow join us today!! He was the first player in hockey history to win an Olympic Gold Medal and a Stanley Cup in the same season! After the most epic season a player could possible have, Ken didn’t rest on his laurels - he went on to win 4 straight Stanley Cups as an integral part of the New York Islanders dynasty in the 1980s..!! He was one of the most dependable and reliable defensemen of his era, and was inducted into the United States Hockey Hall of Fame in 1995! However, despite his 4 Stanley Cups and his ‘Miracle On Ice' Olympic Gold Medal, he has yet to receive the same recognition in the Hockey Hall of Fame. Morrow shares some very interesting insights on how a group of U.S. College players were able to knock off the feared Soviet National Olympic team, and how that experience helped groom a 9 year NHL career with 4 Stanley Cups..! Enjoy!!
