birth date + birth month + year that we are in = your number

eg: 14th April -

1+4+0+4+2+0+2+4 = 17

The Major Arcana cards go up until 21 (The World) - some people count card 22 as The Fool.

But if your formula adds up to 23, you have to add 2+3 = A 5 year.
