What if some of the answers we're looking for in our relationships aren't found by thinking harder, but by learning to listen differently?
In this episode of Couples Unfiltered, we're joined by Janis Vogel, a transformational life coach, meditation guide, and creator of The L.O.V.E. Method, a practice rooted in self-awareness, nervous system regulation, and building a secure relationship with yourself.
Janis' work is deeply personal. Her own experiences with childhood trauma, divorce, and the pressure to simply "figure it all out" led her to a very different understanding of healing, relationships, and what it means to truly feel safe within yourself.
In this conversation, we explore the things we don't always notice: the messages our bodies are sending us, the patterns we carry into relationships, why hypervigilance can sometimes get in the way of connection, and what happens when we stop overriding what we already know somewhere inside of us.
We also talk about:
Love, attachment, and self-trust
Red flags, green flags, and why Janis has a different take on both
Knowing when to stay and when to go
How past experiences can shape present-day relationships
Nervous system regulation and emotional safety
Learning to listen to your body
Becoming more connected to yourself before trying to connect with someone else
The importance of being your whole, authentic self
The LOVE Method is a framework that breaks unhealthy relationship patterns at the root and helps powerhouse women build healthy relationships, secure attachment, and stop settling, by becoming the love they have been seeking all along.
