आँखों में समंदर, चेहरे पे हंसी का नक़ाब,
दिल कहता कुछ है, ज़ुबां दे जाती है जवाब।
ख़ामोशी की तहों में छिपी हर बात,
लफ्ज़ आते हैं होंठों तक, फिर खो जाती है रात।
कहने को जज़्बातों का एक समंदर बसा,
पर हर अल्फ़ाज़, जैसे रूह से बेगाना सा।
रिश्तों के धागों में उलझी हर सांस,
सुलझने की कोशिश में, बस टूटने का एहसास।
धड़कनों की धुन में खो जाती है सदा,
दिल कहे कुछ और, मगर ख़ामोशी है सजा।
अब तो ये चुप्पी भी चीख सी लगती है,
कहानी अधूरी सही, पर मुकम्मल सी लगती है।
