Sometimes the career we choose can be very rewarding. However, it can also have lasting effects on us that could change the direction of our lives. We may not fully be aware of the changes that are happening to us as we struggle with some of society's beliefs that we need to have a tough attitude and just suck it up.

My guest Brad, was in firefighting for 18 years and during his time as a career firefighter he experienced repeated and untreated exposure to trauma. This exposure led to Brad’s diagnosis of PTSD.

Brad will openly share with us his amazing story of the depths of his PTSD and his courageous and truly inspiring journey on the path to healing. We don't need to know what or why something is wrong with us to ask for help. It comes from within us.
