Season 2 of The Brief is officially here. Monday's stream had some technical issues so we're kicking things off today instead. Reps. Swalwell and Gonzales have both announced their resignations from Congress after sexual misconduct allegations. The pressure from both parties was overwhelming and we have the clips to prove it.
The U.S. naval blockade of Iran's ports went into effect yesterday. Iran called it piracy and said no port in the Gulf is safe. Oil spiked past $100 yesterday but dropped sharply today to around $93 on reports of possible resumed talks. Gas is at $4.12 nationally. Ceasefire expires April 22nd.
A man in Ireland took a hatchet to a U.S. military plane. And Trump is feuding with the first American pope after posting an AI image of himself as Jesus — which has since been deleted.
