On today’s episode of Midday Missing, host Teri True Crime shares the story of Michael Cahoon , who vanished from Wilmington, Delaware on October 3, 2023 , Gerald William Carroll Sr. who vanished from New Castle, Delaware on October 22, 2001 and Benjamin Morse Archer who vanished from Delaware City, Delaware on March 2, 2016.
Their disappearance remains a heartbreaking mystery. As we dive into the timeline, known facts, and search efforts, we hope to keep Michael Cahoon ’s, Gerald William Carroll Sr’s and Benjamin Archer’s story alive and bring awareness to their case’s.
💔 Michael Cahoon was 40 years old when he disappeared on October 3, 2023 after being last seen in Wilmington, Delaware. Very few details have been released about the circumstances of his disappearance, and he has not been heard from since that day.
💔 Gerald William Carroll Sr. was 44 years old when he disappeared on October 22, 2001 from New Castle, Delaware. He left his home on his green mountain bike to cash a check at the Penn Mart Shopping Center and was last seen there before vanishing. Gerald, who suffers from paranoid schizophrenia and requires medication, has never been seen or heard from again.
💔Benjamin Morse Archer was 32 years old when he disappeared from Delaware City, Delaware on March 2, 2016. After leaving his mother’s home around 6:00 a.m., he was later found by family members at DuPont State Park barefoot and shivering, saying he needed to “bless the park.” When his mother returned to the park a short time later, Benjamin was gone, and he has not been seen or heard from since.
