このコンテンツについて
In this episode, we dove into Sandy Austin’s inspiring work with B.I.O.N.I.C Teams—a program designed to empower students K-12 to support peers through tough times. From helping new students feel welcome, comforting those who are sick, standing up to bullying, or honoring those who are grieving, B.I.O.N.I.C Teams teaches simple, actionable steps that ripple far beyond school walls.
We also explored the annual “10-10 I Care Day”, where students challenge themselves to reach out to 10 people in 10 hours—one school even achieved 24,000 acts of kindness in a single day! Sandy’s approach shows how early empowerment can transform lives into adulthood.
Key takeaway: Small, intentional acts of care can create lifelong ripple effects. Imagine applying these principles in your own community—how would you amplify impact today? Get started here: https://www.giftfromsandy.com/
