  • Rhythms, Boundaries, and Becoming with Jillian Starman
    2026/06/10

In this episode of Rooted Voices, Sacred Bones, Jean and Joanne speak with Dr. Jillian Starman, founder of Wise Women Leadership, about women in transition, the inner work of leadership, and the quiet power of redefining success from the inside out.

Jillian’s work supports women entrepreneurs and leaders as they navigate business, family, personal growth, boundaries, confidence, resilience, productivity, and the very human pressure to keep moving even when something inside is asking for a different rhythm.

This conversation moves beneath the polished language of leadership and into the lived reality of becoming. Jean, Joanne, and Jillian explore the space between an old identity falling away and a new one not yet fully formed. They talk about boundaries, energy, success, productivity, and the cost of trying to lead from a life that no longer fits.

Together, they consider what happens when women stop organizing themselves around old definitions of success and begin listening for the life that is actually asking to be lived.

  • Reclaiming the Voice Beneath the Story with Joanne Sprott
    2026/06/18

In this episode of Rooted Voices, Sacred Bones, Jillian Starman and Jean Hamilton-Fford speak with Joanne Sprott for a raw and reflective conversation about voice, memory, body wisdom, and the deeper stories that shape a human life.

Joanne is someone who has lived between language and mystery — indexing books, reading symbols, listening for patterns, and helping people reconnect with the inner voice beneath the noise.

Together, they explore the quiet intelligence that lives beneath the surface of everyday experience — the places where old patterns, inherited beliefs, emotional memory, and inner knowing begin to speak. This is a conversation about listening more honestly to the self, reclaiming the parts of us that have been silenced or overlooked, and recognizing the body not as a problem to manage, but as a living source of information, truth, and return.

As always, Rooted Voices, Sacred Bones is unedited, real, and spacious — a place for conversations that do not rush toward neat answers, but make room for the complexity, tenderness, and wisdom of being human.

    About Joanne

Joanne Sprott is an intuition mentor who works with women and men who are ready to expand their own Spirit selves, declare their emotional independence, and launch their creative passions. She uses the archetypal imagery of Tarot, other oracles and mythological symbolism, along with an open energetic space for humans to shine.

  • Resilience Without Disappearing
    2026/07/03

Resilience is often spoken about as strength, grit, or the ability to keep going. In this episode of Rooted Voices, Sacred Bones, Jean Hamilton-Fford, Joanne Sprott, and Jillian Starman slow the word down and look at what resilience actually asks from a living human being.

This conversation moves beyond polished ideas of coping and into the real terrain of awareness, decision, structure, problem-solving, adaptation, and staying present without disappearing inside what life is asking of us.

Together, they explore resilience as something more grounded than endurance. Not a performance. Not a fixed personality trait. Not the pressure to hold everything together at any cost. Instead, resilience becomes a living practice of meeting reality, making the next honest move, and remaining in relationship with the self through change, pressure, disruption, and becoming.

  • The Infinite Line
    2026/07/08

In this episode of Rooted Voices, Sacred Bones, Jean Hamilton-Fford, Joanne Sprott, and Jillian Starman explore the idea of The Infinite Line — the golden thread running through a life, a body of work, a relationship, a story, or a soul’s becoming.

The conversation moves through continuity, connection, intersections, patterns, spider webs, and the shapes we create as we move through the world. Some lines are inherited. Some are chosen. Some are interrupted, redrawn, or followed long before we fully understand where they are leading.

Together, Jean, Joanne, and Jillian reflect on the visible and invisible lines that connect us to memory, meaning, creativity, ancestry, intuition, and one another. This is a conversation about staying with the thread, noticing the pattern, and trusting that even the smallest line may belong to something much larger than we first imagined.

  • Destiny, Sovereignty, and the Life We Choose
    2026/07/15

Destiny and sovereignty are often spoken about as though they sit at opposite ends of life: one suggesting a path already laid before us, the other placing authority firmly in our own hands.

In this episode of Rooted Voices, Sacred Bones, Joanne leads a rich conversation into the space between them.

Together, we explore the difference between destiny and fate, and the way fate can become the hammer that turns direction into something fixed and immovable. We consider destiny as a living orientation rather than a rigid script, and ask what becomes possible when we remain conscious participants in the life unfolding before us.

The conversation also moves through choice, agency, ownership, worry, anxiety, and the deeper meaning of sovereignty. Is sovereignty simply the freedom to choose, or is it the inner authority from which choice becomes possible? Can we remain sovereign when our circumstances are limited? Can destiny guide us without becoming a prison?

This is a thoughtful, spacious episode about the relationship between what calls us and the self that answers.
