  • Season 4 Episode 10: Are You a Splitter or a Joiner?
    2026/04/23

    1) We are called to think about Jesus all the time and to expect His appearing from heaven (Titus 2:1-15).

    A) If you expect that Jesus could come at any moment are you prepared to meet Him (Revelation 2:4-5)?

    B) Waiting upon the Lord should be seen as active preparation for His arrival (Luke 12:34-40).

    C) Active preparation should lead to a purified life and Biblical maturity (Hebrews 10:22-31).


    2) We should be active in using our resources, talents, abilities and time to further the good news of Jesus Christ (Luke 19:11-27).

    A) Jesus has set us free from sin and death. We should run the race of faith as one looking to claim the medal (Philippians 3:7-21).

    B) The desire to win the prize requires discipline in training. It requires the participant to fight through personal discomfort and pain, and they can never loose sight of the end goal (I Peter 4:1-19, I Corinthians 9:24-27).

    C) Think of your Christian journey as a spiritual race that requires strict spiritual training (I Timothy 4:1-16).

    3) Seven key doctrinal positions to rally around as Christians.

    A) God in 3 persons: Father, Son and Holy Spirit.

    B) Jesus is fully God and fully human.

    C) Man is not saved by works but rather by faith in Jesus Christ’s substitutionary death, burial, and resurrection.

    D) Jesus ascended to the right hand of the Father where He now intercedes on behalf of the believers.

    E) The Bible is the inspired inerrant Word of God.

    F) All humans are sinful and are in desperate need of redemption.

    G) Jesus will return to judge the world and to establish His kingdom upon the earth.

    What are some issues Christians of varying denominations can work together on and what are some issues that are worth dividing over?

  • Season 4 Episode 9: What is Wrong with Having Money?
    2026/04/16

    1) Money is not evil but the love of money is the root of all evil (I Timothy 6:6-10).

    A) The pursuit of wealth demands total commitment of one’s time and attention (Matthew 19:16-30).

    B) God provides us with money, talents, abilities and opportunities (Deuteronomy 8:1; 9:1-6).

    C) We must be so content with our connection with Jesus Christ that we are able to accept loss and gain with the same attitude (Job 1:20-22).


    2) The World, the flesh and the Devil war against our mind (1 Peter 4:1-11).

    A) We must come into the light of Christ and let Him reveal what needs to be corrected in our lives, our behavior, our attitudes, our passions, our direction in life (Hebrews 12:1-29).

    B) We must re-align our thinking away from worldly philosophies by continually absorbing Biblical truth (II Corinthians 10:3-6).

    C) Unity in the Holy Spirit and Spiritual maturity should be goals for Christians to pursue (Ephesians 4:1-32; 5:1-20).


    3) The prayer of a righteous person is powerful and effective (James 5:16).

    A) Prayer is the most practical and effective habit one can develop and depend on (I Thessalonians 5:16-21).

    B) Pray with thanksgiving and with a pure heart (Philippians 4:4-9).

    C) When you do not know how to pray, pray the promises of scripture over your life and others (II Corinthians 1:3-11).

    Discussion Question: Prayer involves listening as well as speaking. Why is scheduling a daily prayer time so important to our Christian journey?

  • Season 4 Episode 8: Those Who Follow Their Heart Will Continually Live in Deception
    2026/04/09

    1) Jeremiah 17:9-10, "The heart is deceitful above all things and beyond cure. Who can understand it? I, the Lord search the heart and examine the mind, to reward each person according to their conduct, according to what their deeds deserve.”
    A) God does not respond well to selfish ambition (James 4:10).
    B) God grants grace to those who are humble (James 4:6-7).
    C) There is one lawgiver. We are not it. Appeal to Him in all things (James 4:11-12).

    2) The steps of a righteousness man are ordered of the Lord (Proverbs 16:9).
    A) Commit your plans to God and purpose to please Him in all you do (Proverbs 16:1-4, James 4:13-17).
    B) We will sleep better at night when we trust Him with the future and no longer feel the pressure to control every circumstance of life (I Peter 1:3-7).
    C) God is going to do what pleases Him and He watches over His Word to make sure it remains true (Proverbs 19:21, Ephesians 1:11, Jeremiah 1:12).

    3) We have not because we ask not or we ask with wrong motives (James 4:1-3).
    A) We must not ask for anything that does not align with God’s Word (Matthew 6:5-18, I John 5:14-15).
    B) We need to use our freedom in Christ to bring Him glory. (I Corinthians 10:23-31).
    C) Christ set the example of humility for us to follow (Matthew 11:28-30, Matthew 23:1-39).

    Discussion Question: What steps of righteousness are we required to perform each day to keep a pure heart before Jesus Christ? How did He keep a pure heart before His Father?
