  • Shaped: Generosity | Building a Life That Overflows
    2025/10/13
Before we ever gave a thing, God gave everything. He gave His Son. His Spirit. His mercy. His daily bread. That’s where generosity begins — not in what we have, but in who He is. True generosity isn’t measured by numbers or percentages; it’s the posture of a heart that’s been shaped by grace. The Macedonian church didn’t give out of abundance. They gave out of overflow — because they’d encountered the generosity of God Himself. When you know the Giver, giving stops feeling like loss and starts feeling like worship. At Rise, we believe generosity isn’t something we do — it’s who we are. A people who reflect the heart of a generous God, trusting that every seed we plant will grow into something eternal. 🌿

  • Shaped: Family | Building the House of Belonging
    2025/10/13
From the very beginning, God’s vision for His people wasn’t an audience — it was a family. A family that carries one another’s burdens, forgives freely, and builds together in grace. When Nehemiah rebuilt the wall, he didn’t post individuals — he placed families side by side. That’s still what God does. He sets His sons and daughters together to build His house — not of stone and mortar, but of mercy and belonging. The Church isn’t a place we go; it’s a people we become. It’s the family of God — flawed but faithful, learning to love like Jesus, and standing together when the world feels heavy. At Rise, we believe we’re being shaped into that kind of family — a house of belonging where everyone has a place, and no one builds alone. 🧱❤️

  • Shaped: Devoted | What Gets Your Time Shapes Your Life
    2025/09/16
We’re all giving our time and attention to something — and whatever gets most of it, shapes us. The world tells us to chase power, fame, money, and pleasure. But those idols don’t deliver significance; they leave us distracted, restless, and empty. That’s why devotion matters. The early church devoted themselves to prayer, Scripture, teaching, and life together — and it changed everything. Their devotion formed them into a different kind of people in a noisy, divided world. In this message, we’ll explore how living devotedly: Anchors us in God’s presence when the world feels chaotic Keeps us from being malformed by the idols around us Shapes us through rhythms of Scripture, prayer, and stillness What if the very silence we avoid is the place where God wants to meet us? What if devotion isn’t about more rules, but about finding the life you were made for?

  • Shaped: Gather | Why We Show Up Matters
    2025/09/16
In a divided world, there’s almost no place where people who don’t look, think, or vote alike choose to come together as family. That’s what makes the weekly gathering so unique. It’s not about chasing power, money, fame, or pleasure. It’s about being shaped into something different. Every time we gather, we practice a way of life the world can’t manufacture—one that forms us through worship, Scripture, prayer, and community. This isn’t just a meeting. It’s a living model of hope, unity, and transformation. It’s a quiet rebellion against the idols that exhaust us, and a reminder that God is already at work—in us, among us, and through us. What if gathering isn’t just about showing up, but about being shaped into who you were created to be?
